Tarek Geddawy is an award-winning Egyptian producer and filmmaker based in the United Kingdom, with a growing international body of work spanning acclaimed feature films, documentary series, and premium commercial productions. 

His credits include globally recognized titles such as Aftersun (2022), Starve Acre (2023), and Perfumed with Mint (2024), with projects screening at leading international platforms including the Academy Awards, the Cannes Film Festival, and the Venice International Film Festival. 

Working across both scripted and unscripted formats, Tarek is known for his versatility as a creative producer, with extensive experience in access-driven sports and factual documentaries. His collaborations include internationally renowned talent such as Paul Mescal, Matt Smith, Morfydd Clark, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Arsène Wenger, alongside executive producers including Fisher Stevens, Richard Brown, Amy Jackson, and Tessa Ross. 

In 2022, he founded ANUBIS Film Productions in London and Cairo, establishing one of the region’s emerging production companies operating across the UK and the Middle East. Under his leadership, ANUBIS has produced and co-produced a diverse slate of commercial successes and art-house films, screening at major festivals including Venice and Toronto. The company’s portfolio spans feature films, series, and more than 80 commercials and music videos produced across the UK, Egypt, and the wider MENA region. 

Among his recent highlights is serving as Producer on the Netflix series Saudi Pro League. Today, Tarek’s work continues to reach global audiences through major streaming platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and MUBI, distinguished by bold visual identity, emotional depth, and a strong commitment to cinematic authorship.
